About Us

In 1926 the vision and dedicated effort of a group of Christian men and women began the mission of service to older adults at Bethel Home for Aged, the first nursing home in Harvey County. For over 75 years the legacy of that mission of caring has continued. In 1991, the Bethel Home closed its doors and residents moved to their new home at Bethel Health Care Centre on the campus of Kidron Bethel Village retirement community. Kidron Bethel Village retirement community is an attractive 27- acre campus located in a quiet residential area in North Newton. This friendly community is near a medical center, medical clinic, Bethel College, and shopping in Newton. Activities and programming are designed to promote opportunities for personal fulfillment, maximum independence and optimum health.

Village Centre complex, which includes the Wellness Centre, Harvest Table Dining, Chapel, Administrative Offices, Beauty Shop and Branch Bank Independent Living apartments and duplexes-36 apartments in Village Heights, 12 in the 400 Building, and 58 duplexes.
