Kidron Bethel Retirement Services hosted its 2010 employee appreciation reception in January. Certified Medication Aide Helga Regier, a 27-year-employee, won the Caregiver of the Year Award. Dietary employee Beverly Koehn was named Support Employee of the Year. Kidron CEO Cindy Vanover, Board of Directors Chair Kaye Penner and Human Resources Director Kellie Maloney presented the awards.
Service awards went to 15-year employees Alicia Cervantes, Kathryn Ibarra and Lori Kennell. In addition, five-year awards were presented to Sheryl Beckham, Ron Braun, Bradley Burch, Jerry Conyers, Melanie Florine, Tracy Koerner, Annetta Morrow, Sharon Tighe and Kristeen Zehr. Nineteen employees were recognized for two years of service at Kidron.
Nurse aide trainees Madiah Moser and Katie Fast were recognized for completing career-advancement education to become certified nurse aides. Stephanie Romero and Blanca Negrete-Castillo were honored for their advancement from certified nurse aides to certified medication aides.
