Village Information Centre:


Administration: Administrative offices and the reception desk are centrally located for your convenience. Our friendly receptionist will be happy to assist you weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Harvest Table: A delicious buffet is served for independent living residents from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. each day in the dining room. Residents may dine by making a reservation or purchasing a discounted meal plan. Guests are welcome. Breakfast and evening meals also are served. Coffee is available anytime.
- Menno Hall: The chapel is available for worship, programs and meetings and is equipped with a sound system, large-screen television, piano, and an organ.
- Community Room: With a complete kitchen adjoining, the Community Room may be reserved for gatherings and meetings and seats approximately 50. There is a piano.
- Midland National Branch Bank: Midland’s convenient branch is open each weekday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
- Hair Salon: The hair salon, located in Suderman Centre for Assisted Living, is available to all residents and open Tuesday through Friday by appointment.
- Woodworking Shop: A well-equipped woodworking shop is available
- Arts and Crafts: This room is available for creating crafts.

Wellness Centre:
Centrally located in the Village Centre, the Wellness Centre features an exercise pool, hot tub, exercise equipment, exercise room and dressing rooms with showers. Residents, with their physician’s permission, may use the Wellness Centre at no charge. Members of the general public may participate for a fee. Our mini-bus makes trips to North Dillon’s twice weekly, to the Bethel College Life Enrichment programs Wednesdays during the school year, and to Sunday services at Bethel College Mennonite Church, Faith Mennonite Church and First Mennonite Church. There is no charge for these trips but donations are appreciated. A small fee is charged for planned trips to restaurants or places of interest. The On-Time Cab is available for local transportation, and the charge is discounted for seniors. Harvey County Interurban offers transportation (donation) to medical appointments locally for those with mobility impairment. It is available to everyone for out-of-town medical appointments (donation) or to the Mid-Continent Airport, Wichita, (charge). Harvey County Retired Senior Volunteer Program will arrange for a volunteer to use his/her vehicle to transport a senior who has no other transportation available.
Assurance Living Services:
The Director of Independent Living offers information and assistance in finding and obtaining services to help residents remain independent as long as possible. Kidron Bethel offers housekeeping and laundry services for an hourly charge.Enrichment:
The “Village Voice” newsletter and calendar are published monthly to provide information about the social, spiritual, educational and recreational opportunities.
Spiritual Enrichment: Bible study, prayer meetings, worship services and special programs offer opportunities for spiritual growth and Christian fellowship. The Chaplain is available for individual counsel and visitation.
- Social Opportunities: Birthday parties, popcorn and pop, movies, socials, holiday celebrations, other programs and entertainment offer opportunities for fun and fellowship. Trips in the mini-bus to places of interest and restaurants in the area are popular.
- Bethel College Activity Pass: These passes are purchased with resident service fees and may be used for admission to Life Enrichment program for seniors, sporting events, dramas and musicals at the college. Kidron Inc., residents are invited to attend any of these events and pay admission charges. The bus provides transportation to Life Enrichment.
- Village University: Educational programming, such as guest lecturers or film series, are offered. Past topics include the Kansas prairie, British royalty, art history, history of hymns, lost civilizations, inventions, travel destinations and mission trips.




- Christmas Gift Market: Residents and staff are the vendors for this gift extravaganza that is open to the public. Health care residents create baked goods and other items, and independent living residents sell their handcrafted items, including quilts, marquetry and woodworking. In addition, maple syrup, honey and other holiday gifts are offered.
